Marnica Esperantha

Esperantha Marnica Salomon was born on November 19, 2007 in a small town called Dessalines in the department of Artibonite. She is the seventh of eight children in her family. Prior to her admission to the orphanage she was living with her parents and the other siblings. It is very hard to maintain reasonable living conditions in the area where she came from. The main crops in this area are peppers and onions. During frequent periods of drought most of the crops perish. Because of their precarious economic situation, her parents have decided to relinquish her and her younger brother “Kalens” to the Fontana Children’ Village in order to offer them a better life and future.

Marnica Esperantha is partially sponsored. Needs $100 per month.
