Christela Similien

Christela is from a small community called Sanoir located in the Province of Artibonite, Hait. She was born on December 2, 2012. She is the youngest of her parent’s four children. She lived with her family before she was admitted to the orphanage. As the youngest child of an unemployed couple she was vulnerable and malnourished. Her parents have decided to relinquish her to the Fontana Children’s Village in order to offer her a much better life.

Christela has an easy-going attitude. She behaves very well and has no problems interacting with others. Because of her prior living condition, she appears to be frail and tired. She is being treated and followed closely at the Village. Hopefully her integration into the Village will be as smooth and easy as it is for the other kids.
