Daniela

Daniela was born on January 13, 2015. Daniela came to the Fontana Village right after Hurricane Matthew in October 2016. The mountainous village where her sisters and mother live was destroyed and Daniela’s mother no longer wanted to care for her. Daniela’s arm was severely burned in a kitchen fire. She will need multiple surgeries and skin grafts as she grows. Daniela is already bilingual. She speaks Creole and some French.
