Givensley Chery

Givensley is originally from a small community called Barriere Pois in Arcahaie, Haiti. He was born on December 13, 2007. He is the oldest of three children in his family. He lived with his mother and two other siblings before he was admitted to the orphanage. Life has become very difficult for his family after the death of his father. Because of their precarious economic situation his mother decided to seek help from the Fontana Children’s Village and eventually he and his little sister “Beverly” were admitted to the orphanage.

Givensley has an easy going attitude. He behaves very well and has no problem integrating with others. His admission into the Village was smooth and easy. He is very happy there. He is very active and enjoys playing soccer.
